KU Graduate STABBED to DEATH by Ex-Lover DID NOT Deserve to DIE

Listen here, everyone.
That woman who was stabbed to death did not deserve to die. As a society, this sense of entitlement must be condemned in whatever form.
The other day a Migori woman punched her husband’s car with stones because the guy was pollinating with someone else. Her argument was that she suspended everything of hers to see the man prosper and the man, instead, took her kindness for weakness. Yesterday, a young man stabbed his girlfriend to death because the girl abandoned him after sinking all his money towards her school fees. This is not right.
Let me tell you something.
When I do anything for anyone, I do so expecting no favours in return. I live my life like that, regardless of whether you are my kith and kin, or just a random guy on the streets – and life is peaceful like that. What I try to tell people is to never, ever, do something expecting anything in return, even for the people you love the most.
Love isn’t supposed to be quantifiable. You can’t go telling your wife that because you bought her a car worth 100M she’s supposed to love you back 100M times – because there is no windsock, known to man, that is supposed to measure the strength of the love blowing in your direction.
If you love someone so much as you claim you do, the wisest thing to do is to love them unconditionally – not go around erecting roadblocks dictating to them boundaries they shouldn’t cross lest you withdraw your love for them.
The part you play in someone’s love life begins, and ends, with you showing them love. As to how they decide to respond to that love is their prerogative, not yours. I am not going to tell my wife that because I buy you nice dresses whenever I go to any trip, you’re only supposed to wear that dress while meeting me. Or, because I bought you a phone the price of a hybrid cow you shouldn’t use that phone to call anyone you wish to talk to. This country is already overflowing with immature lovebirds, we shouldn’t allow any further opportunity for new immaturity to breed untamed.
If all of us were to go around killing all those girls we pampered in the village but instead dumped us for the goon next door, then Kenyan prisons would be overflowing with criminals of passion. We have men who buy their fiancĂ©es’ engagement rings the price of an acre of land in Upper Hill but they don’t go around killing those women when they decide to marry someone else.
You love someone, not because you expect anything in return, but because it is the right thing to do.
And this applies both ways.
