BREAKING NEWS: ODM Kisii senator Obure to DEFECT to Jubilee after Today’s State House Visist

There self imposed rebel Gusii leaders led by former CIC boss Charles Nyachae and Kisii ODM Senator Chris Obure are currently at State House Meeting President Kenyatta and William Ruto.

The anti-Raila/Ongwae leaders also nicknamed Tumbocracts by the larger Gusii community due to their selfish motives, are expected to defect to formally defect from ODM and announce Jubilee as their party.

According to some State House snoop, State House they were gifted abundantly with rider that they must deliver Omogusii to Jubilee.

Our sources have however revealed the President and his Deputy berated them bitterly for failing in their previous attempts to get the Gusii community join Jubilee

Before the ‘token’ was handed to them, the President and his Deputy cautioned them that he will not tolerate any failure.

It is believed that they Kisii ‘Tumbocrats’ were afforded the opportunity to name their price as a sign of allegiance that they will not fail.

What they failed to tell the President and his Deputy is that Kisiis have rejected the so called ‘Omogusii Unity’ and are firmly in ODM to stay.

The announcement of their defection is yet to be announced through a press conference.

The ‘Omogusii Unity’ under the mantra of “The Otamba Declaration” has been widely rejected by the Larger Gusii community including the ones at the diaspora because their’s is an unholy fellowship aimed at finishing Governor Ongwae and bring down his government.

Members of the Kisii community have questioned the timing of the so called ‘Omogusii Community’ asking why its champions did not do it long time ago because they have all along been in leadership.

Premier Raila ARRIVES in London to Deliver Keynote Lecture to a Global Think Tank at Chatham House

H.E @RailaOdinga travels to UK to deliver a lecture at Chatham House on “The Importance of Democracy in Africa: Kenya’s Experience.”
The lecture is scheduled for tomorrow Friday 29th July 2016 from 15:00Hrs Kenyan Time.

 

Kenya, one of Africa’s most economically and politically prominent democracies, will next hold elections in August 2017. Governance in the country has evolved in recent years, due in part to the implementation of a new constitution, ratified in 2010, which stipulated structural changes to the country’s political system.

Devolution in Kenya was intended to bring the government closer to its citizens – one approach for strengthening democracy and accountability also adopted elsewhere in Africa. The forthcoming polls will mark the first nation-wide electoral test of devolution, a process which through the creation of counties has made more urgent the need for inter-party cooperation to ensure the delivery of services and representative governance for citizens.

At this event, Rt. Hon. Raila Odinga will discuss Kenya’s experience of democracy, and how countries across the continent are evolving political systems to manage diversity, accountability and public debate towards peace and development.

Raila will be assisted by Dr Alex Vines OBE, Research Director, Area Studies and International Law; Head, Africa Programme, Chatham House

Msajili wa Vyama vya Siasa nchini Jaji Francis Mutungi amelaani vikali  tamko la Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA) lililotolewa jana tarehe 27 Julai, 2016 kupitia vyombo vya habari, kuhusu hali ya demokrasia ya vyama vingi hapa nchini la kuazimia kufanya mikutano na maandamano nchi nzima akidai kuwa tamko hilo ni la kichochezi lililolenga kuleta uvunjifu wa Amani.

Kwa mujibu wa Taarifa iliyotolewa na Kitengo cha Mawasiliano Serikalini cha Ofisi ya Msajili wa Vya Siasa na kusainiwa na Jaji Francis Mutungi imebainisha kuwa tamko hilo linaenda kinyume na Sheria ya Vyama vya Siasa namba 5 ya mwaka 1992 kifungu 9 (2) (c) inayokataza chama cha siasa kutumia au kuhamasisha matumizi ya nguvu au vurugu kama njia ya kufikia malengo yake ya kisiasa.

“Nimepokea kwa masikitiko tamko la Chama cha Demokrasia na Maendeleo (CHADEMA) lililotolewa jana tarehe 27 Julai, 2016 kupitia vyombo vya habari, kuhusu hali ya demokrasia ya vyama vingi hapa nchini. Tamko hilo limejaa lugha ya uchochezi, kashfa, kuudhi na lenye kuhamasisha uvunjifu wa amani. Ili kuepuka kurejea tamko lote, nimeona ni vyema nitoe mfano wa maneno yafuatayo yaliyosemwa, ambayo yanakiuka Sheria ya Vyama vya Siasa”. Ilisema taarifa hiyo.

Aidha, taarifa hiyo iliongeza kuwa kifungu cha 9(2) (f) kinakataza chama cha siasa kuruhusu viongozi au wanachama wake kutumia lugha ya matusi, kashfa na uchochezi ambayo inaweza kusababisha au ikapelekea kutokea uvunjifu wa amani. Vile vile kanuni za Maadili ya Vyama vya Siasa, Tangazo la Serikali namba 215 la mwaka 2017, zinakataza chama cha siasa kutumia lugha za matusi, kashfa, uongo na uchochezi.

Nakuongeza kuwa kanuni ya 5(1) (d) inakitaka kila chama cha siasa kutotoa maneno yoyote au maandishi ambayo ni uongo. Kuhusu mtu yoyote au chama cha siasa chochote.

Katika taarifa yake Jaji Mutungi amesema kutokana na Kanuni hizo tamko la CHADEMA ni ukiukwaji wa Sheria ya Vyama vya Siasa.

Aidha, hii siyo mara ya kwanza kwa CHADEMA kutumia lugha za namna hii za kuhamasisha uvunjifu wa amani (civil disorder).

Natumia fursa hii kukemea tamko hilo hadharani, kwa mujibu wa kanuni ya 6(2) ya Kanuni za Maadili ya Vyama vya Siasa. Pia nawaasa CHADEMA wasiendeleze tabia hii.

Jaji Mutungi ametoa rai kwa  Viongozi wa Vyama vya Siasa  waonyeshe ukomavu katika medani za Siasa badala ya kujikita katika vitendo, kauli au matamshi yenye mlengo wa kusababisha uchochezi au kufarakanisha Umma na Serikali yao.

Katika tamko lao CHADEMA wameitangaza siku ya tarehe mosi Septemba kama ni siku maalum kwao kufanya mikutano nchi nzima ikiwamo maandamano ambapo ngazi zote za chama kuanzia ngazi ya msingi hadi Taifa zitahusika.

Hata hivyo wajumbe wengine wa bodi ya mfuko huo wametakiwa kuendelea na nafasi zao kama kawaida.

Kabla ya uteuzi huo, Haule alikuwa meneja wa mfuko wa barabara.

THPS is an indigenous NGO established under nongovernmental organisation act No 24 0f 2002 as part of partnership framework implementation plan between the USG and the Government of Tanzania which calls for an uninterrupted transition of PEPFAR funded HIV and AIDS programs into local entities. THPS works in partnership with the Ministries of Health and Social Welfare in Tanzania (MoHSW) and Regional Administration and local government (PMORALG) with a goal of ensuring accessible high quality health care services to Tanzanian’s through establishment and strengthening of comprehensive family focused HIV/AIDS Prevention, Care and Treatment services. This is a continuation of the PEPFAR funded broader US Government HIV/AIDS initiatives through Centres for Disease Control Tanzania (CDC) in Tanzania.

As CDC prime awardees; THPS is currently seeking highly experienced, committed and motivated Tanzanians to fill in the following position in Dar Es Salaam:

POSITION TITLE:  Assistant Intervention Coordinator

OVERALL JOB FUNCTION:

Overall Responsibilities: Tanzania Health Promotion Support (THPS) in collaboration with Tanzania Ministry of Health and Social Welfare National AIDS Control Program(MOHSW- NACP) and PEPFAR Tanzania seeks a Tanzanian to serve as ‘Assistant Intervention Coordinator” to coordinate and the intervention component of an Impact Evaluation study  on  the Coordinated, integrated use of non-clinical health workers on linkage to and retention in HIV/AIDS care in the United Republic of Tanzania. The successful candidate should have knowledge of the Tanzanian health systems and community support services for PLHIV and skills in training, and supervise intervention teams working with national and other implementing partners’ teams. The incumbent will have an opportunity to work with an international study team  on the evaluation and have research skills and capacity built through ongoing mentorship.
 
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Work with Implementation Coordinator to facilitate activities to implement the intervention Participate in rolling out of the study at intervention sitesWork with regional coordinators to ensure  all SOPs, job aids, monitoring tools, and other study materials are utilized Prepare logistics for training activities for selected facilities and intervention staffConduct implementation meetings with stakeholders and intervention staffConduct supportive supervision visits to the intervention and control study sitesRepresent the project at national and international meetings as requiredParticipate in data analysis, publication, and dissemination activitiesAny other task as assigned by supervisor

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

Degree in Social Sciences or equivalent. Master of Public Health  and research experience is an added advantage;Three (3) years of related experience in HIV care, support and treatment programs is an added advantage; Experience collecting and reporting health-monitoring data is preferred.

Reporting to: Management accountant
Job description 
• Maintain Inventory in a day to day basis
• Receive and issue stocks, spares and bought out items on a proper requisition
• Maintain incoming/outgoing material report, counting, stacking and labelling of stock items
• Prepare &maintain goods received vouchers, delivery notes and bin cards
• Maintain accurate stock records
• Manage stock levels
• Perform physical stock count and compare with records
• Identify obsolete and slow moving stocks and pass the accounting entry  as required
• Prepare stock sheet and stock reconciliation on a monthly basis and weekly for the seed stock.
• Ensure to total quality maintenance of the warehouse and stores.
EITHER: During Low season where there is no production at the plant you will be required to work at the main office for accounting roles which will  includes but not limited to below.
• Maintaining and capturing petty cash transaction into the SAP system
• Preparing of petty cash movement on a daily basis,
• Petty cash reconciliation
• Monthly Bank Reconciliation which will include four bank accounts
• Posting of Supplier invoices
• General Ledger reconciliation
• Computing and posting of accruals and  provisions
• Assist in monthly closure under supervision of Management accountant.
• Any other duties and you will be assigned by  management accountant
Qualification 
• Bachelor degree in Bcom Accounting and Finance or Business administration.
• Diploma in accounts or business administration plus at least one year experience.
• Good Computer and report writing skills 
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision
• Excellent communication skills including fluency in Kiswahili and English (fluency in English will be tested)
• An excellent skill in Ms Excel is highly required.
